We’re Carmela and George! Partners in life and baking, proudly serving Bowmanville since 2022. Carmela brings her Pâtissière diploma from George Brown College to every freshly baked dessert, while George sources local ingredients and keeps our ovens fired just right. At Sugar Dust Bakery & Café, we’ve turned our passion for good food into a cozy home-away-from-home bakery, where every custom cake, cookie, and pastry is made from scratch with love and, of course, a little butter.

Went in for a quick treat with my kids (5 and 3) and the owners of this cute bakery were so welcoming and lovely. The kids LOVED their cupcakes, cake pops and homemade blueberry lemonade! I even got to enjoy a hot cup of americano (win!). Would highly recommend and will be going back again and again!
Lovely place. Went there with my husband and son and had the best cake pop ever. Also, my son(who is a toddler) dropped his cake floor on the floor and the owner came personally to give him another one - so sweet! Love places that have a soul like this!
Such a charming and cozy cafe/bakery! It’s run by the loveliest couple, and they do it all—you can stop in for a sweet treat and a warm drink, order a custom cake, or even enjoy some delicious gelato!
